Johnson Fire now has reflective 911 signs. These help the fire department find your house in the event of an emergency, be that of medical or fire. Each sign is custom made to reflect your personal numerical address. Signs may be ordered by calling the Fire Department directly, or call Cheif, Gordon Smith at 635-7550.

Duracell battery co. will donate 1 battery for each purchase of  specially-marked 10-packs of Copper-Top AA or AAA and will donate 2 batteries for each 20 pack purchased. Each pack contains a unique code, which you can enter to direct your battery donation to a volunteer fire department of your choice at one of two web sites. www.duracell.com/protect or www.facebook.com/duracell.

Our fire department goes through many batteries in a year for different pieces of equipment such as gas detectors, air mask voice enhancers and most important the firefighters air packs; which these batteries are what power the electronic "Man-Down" alarm as well as the low air alarm.
